“It’s a compound that is extremely promising there is a large number of studies that demonstrate its potential,” says Dr. Kevin Hill, addiction psychiatrist and Director of this Division of Addiction Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess clinic. “But while pre-clinical or animal studies also show CBD might have anti-anxiety properties and may even be antipsychotic, in most of uses, there isn’t lots of proof.”
